Kent clubs learn FA Cup fate
Kent clubs learn FA Cup fate

The draw for the Fourth Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup has been made…  and in truth could have been kinder to Kent’s five sides in it.

Of the five, Darryl McMahon’s Ebbsfleet United will probably be happiest as the National League side have been drawn at home to BOSTIK Premier side Worthing.

Of the others, only Maidstone United are at home, but they will host National League high flyers Leyton Orient.

The other three all travel, and Steve King’s Welling United reward for Saturday’s win at Hereford United is another away game, but they will fancy a cup upset at Kingfield against National League and historic FA Cup giantkillers Woking.

Dover Athletic, who this week are expected to announce the return of Andy Hessenthaler to the club face an extremely awkward trip through the Dartford Tunnel to face Concord Rangers of National League South.

Last but by no means least, Neil Smith’s Bromley will travel but they don’t know where yet.  They will travel to face either Gloucester City of National South or Dorking Wanderers of the BOSTIK Premier.

Ties to be played over the weekend of October 20th and October 21st.
