Jewiss part of BRDC SuperStars

Kiern Jewiss has been selected to become part of the prestigious BRDC SuperStars programme, the elite driver programme built to promote young British racing talent.

Established by the British Racing Drivers Club in 2008, the SuperStars programme selects only the very brightest prospects from British motorsport and competition for places is extremely tough with all young British drivers aspiring to be selected. Graduates include current and former Formula One drivers George Russell, Lando Norris, Jolyon Palmer, Max Chilton and Will Stevens.

Kiern will now benefit from a wide range of training to enhance his physical and mental fitness as well as workshops to help develop his skills outside of the car and prepare him for all aspects of becoming a professional racing driver. One of the most unique opportunities of the SuperStar programme is the access that Kiern will have to the Members of the BRDC for advice and guidance as he progresses through his career.

Kiern’s graduation to the BRDC SuperStars highlights the club’s faith in his ability, with Kiern becoming a member of the Rising Stars programme in August, nominated as a McLaren Autosport BRDC Award in October and now joining the elite of the club’s junior members as a SuperStar.

“To be selected as a BRDC SuperStar is one of the proudest moments of my career to date. Driving with the Rising Stars emblem on my car to the title last year made it a huge honour to reward the club for the faith that they had put in me to represent them. Now to make the step up to Superstars and to follow in the footsteps of the best in British Motorsport makes me extremely proud and I feel privileged to be recognised!”
