Greenwich Borough v Corinthian Casuals preview

After a long league campaign, Tuesday night at Badgers Sports Ground in Eltham promises an enthralling play off game.

Hosts Greenwich Borough entertain Corinthian Casuals in the Ryman League One South play-offs.

Whilst Borough claimed home advantage due to their higher league finish there was only two points between the two sides. Casuals will be full of confidence too, having claimed the double against Greenwich Borough during the season.

Shaun Okijie and Danny Dudley scored the goals in a two-nil home win for Corinthian and Okojie scored two more either side of a Reyon Dillon goal in a three-nil victory when the teams had their re-match in Eltham.

Since losing at home to Hastings in mid-March, Corinthian-Casuals have won seven straight to claim their place in the play-offs with a five-one trouncing of bottom club Godalming Town. Okijie hit a seven minute hat-trick in the first half and was substituted at half time to rest him.

Meanwhile Greenwich Borough were also cruising to a good warm up victory with four unanswered goals against Guernsey. After the evergreen Charlie MacDonald put them ahead in the second minute Mohamed Eisa notched a brace and Bradley Pritchard added a fourth.

They are also in a rich vein of form, having gone eight games undefeated since losing to their play off opponents.

It could turn out to be a shoot out between the two leading scorers as both MacDonald and Okojie have netted 28 times for their respective teams this season.

Whoever claims the spoils will meet the winners of the Dorking versus Hastings United match with the prize promotion to the Ryman League Premier Division.
