For once, some football news
There was no definitive news about the sale of the club on Friday. For once, football news took centre stage.

The draw for the first round of the Carabao Cup was made in Vietnam, and broadcast live on Talksport 2.
The Addicks will travel to recently relegated MK Dons. The match is likely to be played on Tuesday 14 August.
Last year saw attendances drop to just a few hundred for many of the Checkatrade Trophy games, and run-of-the-mill games in the early stages of this competition seem likely to be played in front of sparse audiences.
‎The friendly at Welling has been put back a week, and will now be played on Saturday 14 July. Kick-off remains at 12.30pm.
Lee Bowyer requested the change to enable him to have more time to prepare his squad for the game.
Charlton still only have five pre-season matches arranged. Normally they have seven, though Karl Robinson played nine warm-up games last year.
Games could still be arranged before the Welling game, and an overseas training camp, or a mini tour in Britain remain possibilities.
