Head Coach Kevin Parrish wants the Invicta Dynamos to come out flying when Cardiff NIHL Devils come to Gillingham on Saturday night.141005_18

After a few slightly below par performances at home, the Dynamos will be looking to impress in front of their own fans in the NIHL South Division 1 fixture.

Results have been impressive for the Dynamos at home having won their last three 9-5, 13-3 and 7-5, but Parrish is hoping the side come out of the traps at pace this weekend and wants to put on a great show for the Kent fans:

“We’ve been a bit flat at home over the past couple of weeks and we need to start off flying to get ourselves into it and I want to get the crowd going from the first drop of the puck.”

Cardiff come into the game after some disarray over the summer and will come to Gillingham without the strength of squad they’ve seen in recent years.

Despite this, Parrish is aware of the threat that the side could pose and wants his team to play to their potential:

“They’ve had issues over the summer, but have got some good local lads together and will no doubt come to us with a good number and will be looking to give us a good game.”

This weekend Parrish will one new signing on show with forward Frankie Harvey cleared to play, although import Joonas Liimatainen will have to wait a little longer to feature in a Dynamos shirt:

“Frankie is cleared to play and we’re just waiting on the paperwork for Joonas and I’m sure our loud crowd will be welcoming to the new boys.”

With face off at Gillingham 5:15pm on Saturday night, fans are set to flock to the Silver Blades Ice Bowl in Gillingham in their numbers.
