Dynamos part with Piacka

The Invicta Dynamos have parted ways with Slovakian import Edmund Piacka with Head Coach Kevin Parrish now looking to secure a goalscoring forward as a replacement.

Edmund Piacka arrived at the Mos after playing nearly 300 games in the Slovakia’s top tier and having lifted the Extraliga title in 2015/16.

However the forward has struggled to excel in the NIHL South Division 1 with 4 goals and 3 assists in 11 competitive outings.

He also amassed 30 minutes of penalties. He now leaves the Dynamos vacating an import slot that Head Coach Kevin Parrish will work to fill.

Speaking on the departure of his import forward Kevin Parrish said, “Edmund arrived with a lot of expectation but he has been unable to lead the line in the manner we were hoping.”

“Despite this we would like to thank him for his efforts during what has been a difficult start to the campaign and wish him well in finding a better fit to continue his career.”

“I will now be looking to secure a goalscoring forward as a priority”.

The Invicta Dynamos are next in action on Saturday 10th November as they travel to Romford to take on the Raiders before returning home to tackle the Swindon Wildcats in Gillingham on Sunday 11th.
