The Invicta Dynamos have added youth to the 2017/18 attacking line-up by completing the signing of England under 18s representative and younger brother of forward Mason Webster – 17 year old Brandon Webster.

Brandon Webster has risen through the junior ranks with Chelmsford and in 2016/17 represented the Essex outfit at under 18s level and in the NIHL South Division 2.

As alternate captain, Webster managed 13 goals and 17 assists in 17 fixtures for the under 18s whilst he found the net a further 2 times and notched another assist during 10 outings with the Warriors in the NIHL South’s second tier.

In addition to his club commitment, Brandon Webster has been an ever present feature for the South East conference teams from under 11s onwards and also represented England at under 16s and under 18s level.

Webster amassed 9 goals and 7 assists in 14 games for the national side at under 16s before another 25 strikes and 29 assists in 36 fixtures for the under 18s.

Now the spritely forward will be looking to continue his development in Kent as he joins his older brother Mason in lining up for the Invicta Dynamos.

Speaking on the signing of Brandon Webster, Head Coach Kevin Parrish said, “Brandon is a young player with lots of potential and after having him train with us a number of times last season I was keen to have him commit to the Dynamos full time.”

“Whilst the NIHL South Division 1 will be a new challenge for him I think his performances for both the South East Conference team and the national side show that he plays with no fear and has the ability to make his mark.”

“I look forward to working with him in 2017/18 and I know he is eager to test himself at a new level and do his bit for the Dynamos as we compete in British ice hockey’s second tier”.

Brandon Webster will wear number 21 for the Mos and his signing takes the team’s roster for the new campaign to ten players with further names set to be revealed in the near future.
