Denly named in England squads

Kent all-rounder Joe Denly has been named in the England Test and ODI squads for the tour of the West Indies in the New Year.

The 32 year old batsman retains his place in the Test squad despite not featuring in the three match Test series win in Sri Lanka.

Bowling leg spin as well has seen Denly fall back in favour in the One Day format and he has shown in recent performances for England that his all-round talents warrant selection.

The England National Cricket Selectors have named a 16-strong squad for the three-match Test series in the Caribbean starting in January and a 15-strong squad for the ODI series against the Windies starting in February.
