The skater has impressed following his switch from the London Raiders last term.

Joshua Condren was one of numerous young arrivals at the Dynamos in the summer of 2015 as Head Coach Kevin Parrish looked to rejuvenate his side and build for the future.

He arrived in Kent having risen through the junior ranks in Guildford, represented Slough at under 18s, NIHL South Division 2 and EPL level and having iced with the London Raiders for a full year in the NIHL South’s top tier.

Last season, now featuring for the Mos in Gillingham, Condren appeared in all but one of the team’s 50 fixtures and found the net 12 times whilst playing a role in 12 more for a total of 24 points.

His unorthodox style made him an unpredictable opponent for other NIHL sides whilst the forward also became a magnet for powerplays as he consistently drew penalties from his rivals.

Now he will be hoping to build on the solid platform that was his first senior season in Kent by continuing his development with the Dynamos in 2016/17.

Speaking on the return of Joshua Condren, Head Coach Kevin Parrish said, “Josh joined us last season as a raw talent and I think he surprised a few with his performances over the year.”

“He found a knack for scoring important goals, always kept busy out on the ice was constantly in the faces of his opponents. I think I lost count of the number of penalties he drew from opponents but on top of that the energy he brought to the ice helped make things happen for us.”

“He is still only 20, he has a great attitude towards his hockey and I think we’ll continue to see the development of Josh throughout 2016/17.”

“When I first signed him it was for the potential he clearly had and the longer he stays the more of that we’ll see. Josh should have a big role to play next season and I’m glad to have him back for another campaign”.

Joshua Condren is only the second forward to be announced by the club so far this off season and he joins new signing Mason Webster in the attacking ranks.

Meanwhile Damien King, Ondrej Zosiak, Arran Strawson and Harrison Lillis have all joined the forward in coming back to Kent for another year with news of further returnee to follow later in the week.
