Nick Pope and Tony Watt attracted speculation in the press on Friday.

Pope was linked with several clubs earlier in the week, and Wolves are now reported to be keen on the keeper.

Pope would probably be back up to Carl Ikeme at Molineux. It seems unlikely that he would be willing to accept a move to sit on the bench, and it could be that the speculation will lead to a extended contract offer at The Valley.

Dillon Phillips signed a new deal at The Valley on Friday. The 20-year-old keeper spent the season on loan with National League champions Cheltenham, and was impressive before injury brought a premature end to his season.

With Stephen Henderson likely to leave in the summer, Phillips could be Charlton’s number two keeper next season.

The Newsshopper has reported that Birmingham, Nottingham Forest and Queens Park Rangers are showing interest in Tony Watt.

Watt is recuperating from surgery and faces a fight to be fit for the start of next season. With the emergency loan window now scrapped, Watt may stay at The Valley until January.

Bradford City became the 22nd confirmed League One side for next season on Friday. Their 1-1 draw at the Den meant the Lions won the tie 4-2 on aggregate, condemning the Bantams to another season in League One.

Bradford join Bolton, Bristol Rovers, Bury, Charlton, Chesterfield, Coventry, Fleetwood, Gillingham, MK Dons, Northampton, Oldham, Oxford, Peterborough, Port Vale, Rochdale, Scunthorpe, Sheffield United, Shrewsbury, Southend, Swindon and Walsall in League One for the 2016/17 season.

The winner of the AFC Wimbledon v Plymouth, and loser of the Barnsley v Millwall play-off finals, will complete the division.

The fixtures for next season will be released at 9.00am on 22 June.
