Charlton Athletic vs Oldham Athletic Preview
Jason Euell’s Under-23 side beat Sheffield United 3-0 on Monday in a game played at  ‎Stockbridge Steel’s ground.

Brandan Hanlan and Josh Umerah scored Charlton’s goals, the other one was an own goal.
Russell Slade will be hoping the senior side can emulate the youngsters’ performance, and get a much needed three points when Oldham visit The Valley on Tuesday.
The Addicks have lost just one of their last eight league games, but five of those games have ended all square.
The lack of wins means Charlton are currently languishing in 16th place in the League One table. ‎
‎Slade has played with just one striker in his last two games, but the fans will be hoping the boss reverts to his more favoured 4-4-2 formation.
‎Ricky Holmes and Lee Novak came off the bench at Oxford on Saturday, and the duo will be pushing for starting slots.
Harry Lennon will be unavailable after picking up a red card at Oxford, and head injury victim, Jason Pearce, remains a doubt.
If Pearce is ruled out, Ezri Konsa is likely to partner Patrick Bauer in central defence.
Another decision for Slade to make – if he goes with two strikers – is which of his three mainline front men to leave on the bench.
Slade may go with this side:
Rudd; Solly, Konsa, Bauer, Fox; Holmes, Crofts, Ulvestad,‎ Jackson; Magennis, Novak.
Subs: Philips, Johnson, Chicksen, Foley, Botaka, Lookman, Ajose.
The referee will be Nick Kinseley from Essex, who will be taking charge of a game at The Valley for the first time.
The Latics are in the drop zone and have won just one game – at Gigg Lane against local rivals, Bury.
Much has been said about Slade’s tactics over the weekend, and the manager will be desperate to take six points from this week’s two home games.
Warranted he is not over cautious, Slade should see‎ his team take the points.
