It’s been a busy summer so far for Bromley FC with the installation of a new 3G pitch underway at Hayes Lane.

The club have said that work in on schedule and are hoping for the first game on the new surface to be a ‘prestige friendly’ on 29th July.

Meanwhile a programme of local pre-season matches have been booked ahead of The Ravens third season in The National League.

On the playing front manager Neil Smith has secured the services of five players thus far in Jordan Higgs, Alan Dunne, George Porter, Daniel Johnson and captain Jack Holland.

Smith is in discussion with a number of last season’s squad and also some new targets as he builds his side for 2017/18.

Confirmed departures from the club are experienced midfielder Lee Minshull and striker Bradley Goldberg who was the club’s top scorer back in 2013/14 and came through the junior ranks at Hayes Lane.           

This year marks Bromley’s 125th anniversary and they have unveiled a new badge commemorating this landmark, which will be on sale in the club shop when the new campaign starts in August.
