The Burford Academy camps are designed for girls of all ages and experiences and all levels of confidence.

Rachael will deliver these camps personally alongside her team of fully qualified and vastly experienced coaches, this team will also include some guest appearances from her friends and fellow international players.

The Burford Academy will develop your child’s ability and confidence both on and off the pitch.

Burford Academy

Enjoyment is at the forefront of all their camps as they aim for their players to enjoy everything they do whilst they take the opportunity to building new friendships and develop their personal and rugby skills under the guidance of some of the nation’s top female international Rugby players.

Laying out her plans for the Burford Academy, Rachael has explained what she is looking to achieve:

“I strongly believe if we develop players off the pitch it will make then better rugby players.”

“We offer something slightly different for our classroom based session — we want to help promote off pitch personal development and will focus on various aspects on, life skills, such as being confident, working in a team, how to overcome challenges/obstacles, how to deal with injuries, and returning from injuries safely, educating the girls on concussion, nutrition, overcoming obstacles.”

“We plan to launch our first camp and pilot our Academy in the South east region launching in Kent and Surrey this Easter Holidays to start to build a base of players.”
