Bromley v Hartlepool United preview

After the remarkable 6-1 win over Leyton Orient on Tuesday night Bromley are back in National League action at Hayes Lane on Saturday afternoon when they entertain another ex-football league side in Hartlepool United.

The Pools travel down from the North East with two draws and two losses from their four games played under new manager Craig Harrison, having drawn 1-1 with Chester in midweek, slowly adjusting to life in their new surroundings.

The Ravens performance against Orient wasn’t just remarkable for the goals scored, but the defensive display and the form of young keeper David Gregory who made four great saves at key moments in the match.

Neil Smith’s side have only conceded two goals in their opening four games, which has seen two wins and two draws, leaving them placed fourth in the fledgling table.

Although it is unlikely that there will be anything close to the 3,346 in attendance that the club had for the Orient game, they will hopefully be rewarded with a good crowd as they make an impressive start to the season.
