Bromley sign De Silva

Bromley FC have today announced the signing of 24-year-old attacking midfielder Kyle De Silva.

De Silva has joined the club from FC Eindhoven in the Dutch second division, clocking up 49 games and four goals in a two season spell with the club. Before he was in Holland he was actually at Crystal Palace for ten years, making his way through to the under-23 side. He was a regular in that side and he progressed to making seven first team appearances for the club.

He made his Palace debut in the FA Cup against Derby County, he then had spells with Barnet and Notts County before he moved across to Europe.

Speaking about bringing De Silva to the club, manager Neil Smith said: “I’ve been watching Kyle since he was at Palace and then at Notts County. We tried to sign him last year, but he had to see out his contract in Holland.

“He’s done that now and we’re pleased to have him on board, and I’m sure he’ll excite the supporters with his style of play.”
