Bromley SC make an impact

After making their debut appearance last year, Bromley SC returned to Cardiff for the National Arena League B Final on Saturday 2 March held at the Cardiff International Pool.

The local club faced tough competition against clubs ranked in the top 20 in the country but the Bromley swimmers rose to the challenge to finish in 2nd place. A massive improvement from last year’s 6th place finish.

In addition to being the only Bromley Borough club that qualified for this prestigious event, Bromley SC’s 2nd  place was a dominating win over other attending Kent clubs.

The team focused ethos within the club was evident in the fantastic team performance across all ages. Bromley also dominated the Top Age Group Awards with 3 of the 6 awards going to Bromley swimmers. Lucas Bryl won the Boy’s 12&U award, and in the 16&U age group the boy’s award went to Tom Woolley and the girl’s award to Tamryn van Selm.

Bromley Head Coach commented: “We are all proud to have put out such a strong team performance that shows that not only are we one of the best clubs in the country, but we are moving forwards”.
