Bromley make two more additions

Bromley have brought in two more players this week as manager Neil Smith builds his squad for the club’s third season in The National League.

Right sided defender Ben Wynter has joined from Crystal Palace, while midfielder Josh Rees has signed from Chelmsford City.

Rees, who began his career at Arsenal before appearing for Nuneaton and Torquay, played 36 games for Chelmsford in National League South last season, while teenager Wynter comes in from The Eagles after being tracked by Smith last season.

The two new arrivals take the squad up to 13 players confirmed for the start of 2017/18. The pre-season games begin on 8th July with a trip to Leatherhead.

Away from the playing staff work continues on schedule with the laying of the new 3G pitch and the club have also announced the new shirt sponsor for this campaign in Southwark Metals.

The company’s name will appear on all three of the special 125th anniversary kits for this season, which were launched last week and can be pre-ordered from the website.

The feel good factor at Hayes Lane was further enhanced by the record take up of season tickets on the early bird offer and the success of the Roadshow event last month in the town’s Glades Shopping centre.
