Addicks up for the Cup
Charlton were handed a home tie against Forest Green Rovers when the draw for the Carabao Cup was made on Thursday evening. Bizarrely, the draw took place in Morrisons in Colindale.

It will be the first time the two clubs have clashed in a competitive match, though they have previously met in a pre-season friendly at the New Lawn when Phil Parkinson was in charge.
The game will be played during week commencing 12 August, and it is likely that only the West Stand will be open to Addicks fans.
Crucial talks are scheduled for Friday between Joe Aribo and Lee Bowyer. Aribo’s contract expires at the end of the month, and Charlton would only receive a development fee if he leaves.
Aribo has been strongly linked with a move to Scottish giants, Rangers, but Bowyer will try to convince his star midfielder that it is in his best interests to stay at The Valley.
A year in the Championship would be a great learning curve for Aribo, who Johnnie Jackson believes has the talent to become a Premier League player.
